Cinema Art Bethesda is an all-volunteer organization that brings the best in foreign and independent film to Bethesda and nearby communities.
We pre-screen a large number of films and select those likely to provide an entertaining experience and a thought-provoking discussion among our membership.
Screenings are held at the Landmark Bethesda Row Cinema, 7235 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda*. Bethesda Metro and ample parking are nearby.
Spend ten Sunday mornings with Cinema Art Bethesda from September through May. Enjoy the best of current foreign and independent films. Each film is followed by a provocative discussion with outstanding film experts. Theater doors open at 9:30 a.m., films start promptly at 10:00 a.m.. The main doors to Landmark Theatre will close at 10 a.m. at the request of theater management, so be punctual.
* Bethesda Row Cinema is located at the intersection of Woodmont Ave. and Bethesda Ave, one block west of Wisconsin Avenue. There are several county parking garages within about a block, and parking is traditionally free on Sundays.
